The Purple Skirt

"Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own action." - Dalai Lama

I bought this purple skirt thinking it was super cute without even trying it on. Big mistake!!! It is extra big on me and doesn't look flattering at all. I could hand it down to one of my sisters but then they are both skinner than me. So, this skirt is going in the donation pile. Back to my outfit. I tried to cinch the skirt on my waist with an elastic belt(brown front), paired it with a black sweater, tights and black heels. Enjoy and stay warm.
P.S. Porshia makes appearances on some of the pictures. :)

The Girl with the RED COAT

"When in doubt wear RED." - Bill Blass

In many women's lives, shopping is a hobby and a must for some. When we're up, we shop. When down, we shop even more. It is very depressing that me and my sister are so far away from home and can't celebrate Dashain Festival with family. So, we went shopping - a little Retail Therapy. I wore a bright red coat with black tights and basic black flats. Hope you guys have a wonderful Dashain. Stay safe.

Color me RED

"Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact." - William James
It has become some sort of a tradition. Saturdays are me and my sister's girls' day out together. This Saturday we decided to go out for coffee - we were both dying for some Pumpkin Spice Soy Latte. We tried Panera Bread. Well, the lattes were a little too sweet for our taste but good none the less. I wore a red Bodycone dress for our little coffee date. You have to be confident to strut your stuff in Bodycone dresses because they hug every curve, roll, bump on your body. But they are extremely comfortable. I added a brown cardigan and a scarf over the dress.

Here's to hoping that you have a wonderful Saturday as well.

Magical Pants

"There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein

Wide leg pants are perfect for fall. These pants are extremely flattering and amazingly comfortable. Some call them the Magical Pants because they flatter any and every body. The idea is to ton the extravagant pant down with a simple top and touch of accessories. My wide leg pants are black, flowy and from far it gives you the illusion of a maxi skirt. I wore my pants with a very light stripped sweater and cinched my waist with a dual brown belt. It also does wonders to lengthen your leg line. :)
Here's to hoping that you rock a pair of wide leg pants this fall.

TEAL Heaven

"Everyday is a good day to be alive, whether the sun's shining or not." - Marty Robbins

Teal is a very versatile color than a bright summery turquoise. You can wear teal well into the fall with black, brown and other neutrals. It is the perfect blend of the warmth of late summer and coolness of early autumn. I went all out with teal in this outfit. I paired my teal shirt with a basic black denim and teal flats(gold detailing). Much love to my lovely sister Miss Priya Hirachan for the bag - teal of course. Is it a lit(teal) too much? :)

Here's to hoping you look absolutely gorgeous in this color. Let's enjoy Teal this fall.
